English Dept. of NCU is Announcing Tenure-Track Position in Literary, Visual, and Cultural Studies 108年03月06日

The English Department of National Central University announces a position opening for a full-time Assistant Professor (or above) beginning in February 2020. We are accepting applications in all areas of literary and cultural studies, and especially welcome applications in visual/film studies, theater/performance studies, and any area of pre-twentieth century literature and culture. The post-holder will work with colleagues in an interdisciplinary English department with active research centers.
The position carries a three-course teaching load per semester. Applicants should be aware that course reductions are provided for the first two years of appointment, with the understanding that the university expects new faculty to complete their promotion to the next academic rank within six years of the date of appointment. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand as well as evidence of strong research performance and excellence in teaching. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Applicants are encouraged to select representative work published within the past five years. Preference will be given to applications received by Apr 18, 2019.
