Professorship in Organic Chemistry

Professorship in Organic Chemistry to be established at the Tunghai University, from August 1, 2019, either at a senior, tenured level or as assistant professor with tenure track, depending on experience and qualification.
This professor is expected to establish and develop at the Tunghai University an internationally visible research group focusing on Organic Chemistry, with strong potential for organic materials and bioorganic chemistry. The professor will also be actively involved in teaching in the curricula of organic chemistry and general chemistry (with experiment course), as well as in continuing education, administrative duties and mentorship activities.
We seek an integrative personality with excellent networking skills and willingness to participate in interdisciplinary research projects, in particular with organic materials and bioorganic chemistry, and to help implementing research strategies of the Department of Chemistry. Knowledge of the Chinese language is NOT mandatory; however, acquisition of some proficiency in Chinese over time will be very useful. Tunghai University also provides Chinese course for foreign faculties.

Ph.D. degree with chemistry and research field is preferred in organic chemistry. Post-doctoral experience for more than one year is required.
